We at MSI ensure that the students of our institute get the best of technological resources. The institute provides various facilities for both students and faculty to use, learn and enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of computers and technology. The institute has nine well equipped, spacious and well maintained computer labs with around more than 30 latest computer systems in each lab which are interconnected to each other through means of LAN. The Internet facility through a 1:1 Lease Line of 200 mbps in all labs allows students to keep them updated with latest advancement in the field of their study and in general as well. Labs are equipped with LCD projectors to show graphical contents to the students for easy and quick learning. Not only this all the computer systems are of latest configuration and are updated with latest version of required software.

Library provides the students a very healthy and disciplined atmosphere which helps students to maintain a good concentration on their studies. Maharaja Surajmal Central Library (MSCL) caters to the dynamic needs of Academic, Administrative and Supportive staff and students.

MSCL was started in the year 1982. At present, MSCL library maintains well-accomplished stock of Text and Reference Books, Project Reports, Journals & Periodicals, Audio-Visuals, CDs, E-Resources etc. pertaining to different topics of educational programs.MSCL supports the teaching of two Institutes namely, Maharaja Surajmal Institute and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.

• Vision: The Vision for Central Library is to provide seamless access to information to its users and to become a premier Learning Resource Centre with a state-of-the-art library resources and services in Engineering, Management, Commerce, Education and Computer Science.
• Mission: The primary mission of the MSCL is to provide services and materials that supports and reflect the mission of MSI and MSIT. The mission of the Central Library is to provide access to high quality information resources in all forms to the faculty, students and staff in support of teaching and research mission of the Institute. Library serves as an educational facility where students and faculty may learn methods of accessing, retrieving, and evaluating information.

Library has also a Research Wing namely “Research and Publication Centre” for scholars where they can refer to reference material and rare collections of manuscripts for their research work. The Research and Publication Centre is dedicated to selecting, analyzing and publishing research material in the hither to neglected areas of history, culture and sociology of the present communities with special reference to Northern India.

Hostel life is a combination of diverse cultures and different upbringings which blends into a synchronization for a unique and unforgettable experience. We, at Raja Mahendra Pratap Hostel, provide an accommodation to 230 students (separately for boys and girls) in a spacious and elegant four storey building with all necessary facilities with a total of around 118 rooms (separately for boys and girls). The wardens and caretakers ensure that the students get a clean, green and relaxed environment. The hostel has a common room with TV, indoor and outdoor games facilities to enrich mental and physical health of the resident students/wards. We also provide 24 hour power supply; ensure cold and hot water availability, periodic disinfection of building, mess with dedicated staff, nutritious menu with variety at subsidized rates and many more things inside hostel campus. The hostel also has 10 additional rooms for the guests which include deluxe, semi-deluxe and general rooms.

The state-of-the-art centrally air-conditioned auditorium with seating capacity of 500 persons is equipped with an LCD projector, a large LCD screen and a modern Public Announcement System. The auditorium is used to conduct various co-curricular and extra-curricular actives including conferences, seminars, workshops and faculty development programs etc.

The Institute believes not only in mental growth but also physical growth. A fit mind resides in fit body. With this view, the Institute offers a sprawling playground. The lush green playground of 3 acres give opportunity to students to excel in sports of their choice such as cricket, football, badminton, Volleyball etc. Apart from Badminton, Volleyball courts, The indoor sports facility for table tennis, Chess, Carrom etc is also available. The students have fared quite well in various sports activities at university level, Inter University level and even higher level.
